internationally recognized chamber music ensembles and soloists. Of the Blue Reflections he says that the word
blue, in today's usage, is a feeling of sadness. A reflection is a visual image
or the pondering of memories. The two melodies expressing these feelings are
derived from each other but convey different moods because of inverted form and
