There's wonderful magic in Lara's performance. Years later after my first post, I can't imagine how I'd ever play this, even following along with the sheet music, I'm lost trying to count. I'll just have to settle for listing to Lara Downes' mastery.
I imagine a voyage that begins and ends well but which encounters violent storms at sea supposing a possible disaster...but finally a release from the troubles that resolves to a peaceful journey's end.
