"Mrs. Connie" has been playing piano since she was 7 years old. Starting at age 13 as a pianist in herFather's church, she was a church musician for 23 years. During her early years her teachers were graduates of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music: Doris Ayer, Dr. Robinson. "Mrs. Connie" went to Canada and studied under Kathleen Dearing, concert pianist. Then moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she was taught by Helen Wright, who performed with the Alabama Symphony. She continued tostudy under Helen Wright after graduating from college, playing in the church and teaching piano intermittently. After starting From the Heart Piano Studio she has studied with Yakov Kasman. She teaches and gives concerts with her husband, Paul's, ministry along with gardening and enjoying her cat, Rachsie.
