Violinist Desirée Ruhstrat has performed throughout the US and Europe, appearing at the White House and performing on a live radio broadcast heard around the world with the Berlin Radio Orchestra. Ms. Ruhstrat made her professional debut at the age of twelve with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. At age 16, she performed Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in Chicago's Orchestra Hall by invitation of Sir Georg Solti. She is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music. Her teachers have included Joseph Gingold and Dorothy Delay.
