I was born in Brussels in 1949. I learned the piano and solfège. I carried on and off playing the piano.
Now I'm learning the glute. This is out of necessity, as I have lung problems; the flute has helped me with my breathing (There's an official research about the benefit of wood instruments for the lungs)
I love Classical music. For the flute the Baroque period is ideal, although the Fremnch School in 19th century inspired modern flutist like Jean-Pierre Rampal, James Galway. I am a beginner, but love it.
