Elise Thibaut, Violin
Biography
Born in 1982 in Seclin, Elise Thibaut began studying music at the age of 4. In 1989, she entered the Conservatoire National de Lille, where she earned several degrees including the Gold Medal and First Prize in violin, and two first prizes in chamber music and sonata unanimously . She won first prize with distinction in Paris and then continued his studies in graduate in the class of Christophe Poiget the CNR de Boulogne-Billancourt. Later she studied at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris with Gerard Jarry and Roland Daugareil. Thibaut perfromed under such distinguished conductors as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Emmanuel Krivine, Kurt Mazur, Michael Gielen and Myu-Wung Chung.
