Eylam Keshet, Piano
Biography
Eylam Keshet was born in Israel in 1992. He served in the Israel Defense Forces as an Outstanding Musician and studied piano with Adella Umanski from the Kfar-Saba Conservatory. Concurrent with his military service, he began studies towards his bachelor’s degree at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel-Aviv University, instructed by Asaf Zohar. He has received scholarships for excellence in piano from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation since 2008 and from the Buchmann-Heiman Foundation in 2009. He has won first prizes at several national piano competitions in Israel. Eylam has participated in master classes given by Arie Vardi, Murray Perahia, Boris Berman, Dmitri Bashkirov, Alon Goldstein, Rudolph Buchbinder, Andras Schiff, Tatiana Zelickman, and Sergey Babayan. Other endeavors in Jerusalem include live-broadcast concerts from the Targ Music Center and Ein Karem Music Center, the David Goldman Program for Outstanding Young Musicians, and the Israel-Germany Musical Encounters Project at Jerusalem Music Center. Eylam has played with the leading symphony orchestras in Israel, including Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Rishon LeZion Symphony Orchestra, and Ashdod Symphony Orchestra.
