Baritone Gerard Collett studied at London’s Royal Academy of Music and National Opera Studio, in addition to master classes with Thomas Quasthoff, Leo Nucci, Roger Vignoles, Dame Margaret Price, Rudolf Jansen, Malcolm Martineau and Julius Drake. An honorary member of the Royal Philharmonic Society, he is the recipient of the Jean Meikle Prize for a Duo at the 2009 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition, the Peter Hulsen Orchestral Song Award and support from the Musicians Benevolent Fund, the Countess of Munster Trust and the Samling Foundation.
