Giorgi Mikadze, Piano
Biography
Giorgi Mikadze was born in Tbilisi in 1989. Currently he is studying piano in Tbilisi Conservatory. In 2002 Giorgy received the second prize in the National Gabunia Piano Competition. Next year he received the President of Georgia Grant. In 2005 he received a special prize and a diploma in the International Horowitz Competition in Kiev. That same year he received the second prize in the Young Pianists competition in Tbilisi. In 2007 he was awarded the Eteri Andjaparidze grant.
In addition to playing classical piano, Giorgi plays jazz and founded a jazz trio which plays in Tbilisi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7ZIPkQRWtw
