Gregory DeTurck, Piano
Biography
Gregory DeTurck has been featured as a soloist and chamber musician in North America, Europe (Spain, England, Ireland) and Asia (Japan, China). He has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and the International Festival Orchestra of Beijing. Gregory was awarded several prizes on the international competition circuit, including the Raeburn Prize for Artist of Special Promise at the 2006 Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary.
He holds a Masters Degree from the Juilliard School, where he studied with Julian Martin, and is completing a DMA at the Eastman School of Music under Thomas Schumacher. Gregory currently lives in New York City.
