Clarinet virtuoso Guy Yehuda is a native of Israel, and is the top prize winner of the 2003 Heida Hermanns International Woodwind Competition, and the 2004 Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Competition. Since his North American Concerto debut with the Royal Conservatory Orchestra, he has performed as soloist and chamber musician at the Spoleto Festival (USA), at Verbier (Switzerland), and at the Israeli Chamber Music Festival. During the 2005-2006 season, Mr. Yehuda's appearances include a Carnegie Hall debut performance with Maestro David Robertson. Mr. Yehuda is currently completing his Doctoral degree at Indiana University, having received an M.A. and a Performer Certificate. He received an Artist Diploma and Bachelor's degree from the the Glenn Gould Professional Music School in Toronto. Mr. Yehuda was recently appointed Professor of Clarinet at the University of North Florida.
