Biography

Jérôme Lefranc received his undergraduate degree with Jean-Marie GAMARD at the consevatory of paris and continue his studies with Yvan Chiffoleau at the consevatoire of Lyon.

He has participated in Académie Ravel, Carl Flesch Akademie en Allemagne, Ravinia Steans Institute à Chicago,... and performed in master classes with Gary Hoffman, Franz Helmerson, Timothy Eddy, Paul Katz, Wolfgang Boettcher, Leon Fleisher, Miriam Fried....

He was invited to perform in France and around the world in festivals including Orangerie de Sceaux, Flâneries de Reims , les Rencontres de violoncelle de Beauvais, Ravinia Festival (USA), Seoul Spring Festival, South Korea, Chamber Music Concert in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam ... and collaborated with such artists as Paul Meyer, Michel Michalakakos, Tasso Adamopoulos, Sylvie Gazeau, Vahan Mardirossian, Jean-Claude Pennetier,...

He is a frequent guest in the cello section of Opera National de Paris, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre National de Lyon, Philharmonia Orchestra in London... and was principal guest cello of Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and Orchestre Lamoureux under the direction of Yutaka Sado...

As a soloist, he played under the direction of Peter Csaba, Vincent Barthe, Aurélien Azan... , in France, South Korea, Azerbaijan.....

He was featured in many live radio broadcast in France.
