JaeOok Lee, Violin
Biography
JaeOok Lee began playing the violin at age five. He studied at the Korean National University of Arts, Seoul, before enrolling at the Juilliard pre-college school at age 12, studying with Glenn Dicterow. A prizewinner in numerous competitions around the globe, Jae has given solo recitals in Juilliard, Merkin Concert Hall, Kumho Art Hall, and Yongsan Art Hall. He has been a soloist with Joy of Strings, Su Won Philharmonic Orchestra, the Great Mountain Music Festival Orchestra, New Jersey Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, and New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. In 2011 and 2012, Jae also participated in the Verbier Academy in Switzerland. Jae is currently studying with Kyung Wha Chung at the Juilliard School as a Naumberg Scholarship recipient.
