Jeanyi Kim is the Assistant Concertmaster of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Concertmaster of the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra. Solo appearances include with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra, and most recently the Duquesne Symphony at Pittsburgh's Carnegie Music Hall. Her major teachers include Erick Friedman, Berl Senofsky, Kyung Yu, and Rebecca Henry. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Yale University, from which she also earned her BA, MM, and MMA degrees.
