been presented on many of the world's most renowned concert stages. In
Europe, he has performed in many of the most prestigious venues,
including the Musikverein in Vienna, Wigmore Hall in London, and the
Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In the U.S., invited performances have
included appearances on Carnegie Hall's "Distinctive Debuts" series and
at Merkin Hall in New York, and both the Kennedy Center and the
Phillips Collection in Washington D.C. Recent seasons have also
included performances in Athens, Birmingham (UK), Brussels, Chicago,
Oakland, Palm Beach, Pasadena, Memphis, Paris, Sarasota, Venice,
Zurich, Seoul, and Busan.

Steinway Artist, Black|ow was born in Boston and studied with Tatiana
Yampolsky, graduating from Harvard University and The Juilliard School.
He currently serves on the piano faculty of the University of Notre
Dame and has recorded for Universal Music, Ltd. and Deutsche
Grammophon/iTunes. This year, EDI Records will be releasing "Prism", a
solo CD featuring works of Berg, Bach, Schumann, and Chopin.
