Léa Hennino, Viola
Biography
Léa earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris. Competition victories include prizes from the European Competition for Young Soloists in Luxembourg, Marschner International Competition in Germany, Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, and National Youth Viola Competition. Léa has taken part in festivals throughout Europe, including France, Germany, Switzerland, the U.K., Sweden, Spain, and Norway. She took part in the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France’s Academy for 2010/2011, where she appears now regulary. She has also been invited to play with the Orchestra National of France, l’Orchestre de chambre de la Nouvelle Europe, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Orchestre du Festival de Pâques de Deauville, and the Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris. She currently plays French viola by Etienne Vatelot made in 1995 in Paris.
