Biography
The LONDON CHAMBER PLAYERS is a chamber orchestra with a year-round home season in London's St. Giles-in-the-Fields. Comprised of young and passionate string players, the orchestra musicians have performed extensively as members with major orchestras in France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Russia, as well as the United States, New Zealand, and Japan. They are sought-after chamber musicians, performing regularly at leading concert venues and music festivals.
The orchestra's repertoire extends from the Baroque to contemporary masterpieces. Under the leadership of its founder, pianist and conductor Ivan Yanakov, the London Chamber Players is quickly becoming a sough-after virtuoso ensemble, enriching the cultural life of London and Great Britain.
