Biography

The Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra is an innovative thirty-member musician-run chamber orchestra.  We often perform our concerts standing and without a conductor.  Comprised of musicians from the Boston Philharmonic, Mannes Pre-College faculty, U.S. Marine Band, Indianapolis Symphony, members of the Army Band, Army Field Band, and National Symphony section extras, and New York and D.C. freelance musicians, we perform both chamber orchestra and chamber music repertoire at various venues in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.  The quickest way to contact us is www.ancowashington.org or by email at arsnovawashington@gmail.com.
