Mari Lee, Violin
Biography
Born in Japan, Mari Lee began taking violin lessons at ago eight and at 11 entered the Yehudi Menuhin School in England. She has given solo performances across England and Europe, including appearances at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Gower Music Festival, Bath International Music Festival, the Arts Club London, the Athenaeum Club, and Wigmore Hall. In 2004, she performed a Mozart concerto with the London Mozart Players and was invited back in 2007 to perform Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 with Sir James Galway and Phillip Moll. She currently studies with Miriam Fried at New England Conservatory.
