Michael Kelly, Baritone
Biography
Michael Kelly won this year’s Joy of Singing Competition and was featured in Handel’s Acis and Galatea with Boston Early Music Festival, in recital at New York’s Trinity Church, in John Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versaille in Aspen, in Schubert’s Winterreise in Houston, and with his group SongFusion. A winner in the Liedercranz Foundation’s Song Competition in 2010, upcoming performances include his New York “debut artist” recital at Merkin Hall as well as Satie’s Socrate at the Mostly Mozart Festival. Michael has performed with Opernhaus Zurich, Chicago Opera Theater, and Tangelwood, and has presented recitals in New York, Houston, Chicago, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Corsica. He holds master’s degree from the Juilliard School.
