Sonya Suldina, Violin
Biography
The violinist Sonya Suldina graduated (2002) from Tchaikovsky National Academy for Music in Kiev, Ukraine. She studied violin with L. Ovcharenko and chamber music with L. Tsvirko. Winner and participant of several violin and chamber music competitions, including Petr Konyovich competition (Belgrad, 1998), MUSICORA Trio competition (Paris, 2000). Attended trio VIVA VOCE chamber music courses (2000), Orchestral academy (2001, 2003, 2004) of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, International Summer Academy BAD LEONFELDEN (Wien, 2004) with Antje Weithaas (violin), Zeist chamber music fiestival and masterclass (2008, 2009, Netherlands) with Jerusalim quartet, Ysaye quartet, Prague quartet, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Martin Lovett.
Sonya Suldina is a co-founder and 1st violin of the Post Scriptum string quartet.
