Biography
Steven O. Laraia is on a full scholarship at the New England Conservatory studying with Kim Kashkashian. He is the recipient of the Abraham Skernick Memorial Presidential Scholarship at NEC. Steve was a semifinalist in the IVC Young Artist Competition, the Sphinx Competition, and the Washington International Competition. He is a member of the Boston Philharmonic and has attended the Yellow Barn Music Festival in Putney, Vermont. Steven’s former teachers include Byrnina Socolofsky, Che-Hung Chen, and Dimitri Murrath.
