Tracy Hoover started playing viola da gamba as a student at Wellesley
College. She has studied with Adrienne Hartzell, Molly Johnston, Laura
Jeppesen and Sarah Mead, and has attended many viola da gamba workshops
and symposia. Hoover has appeared in Wichita with the early music group
the Nether Consort. She is a past president of the New England chapter
of the VdGSA. She has been an adjunct faculty member of the WSU School
of Music since 2007 and maintains a private teaching studio.
