USU Chamber Singers, Chorale

Biography

The
USU Chamber Singers is composed of 37 versatile and dedicated undergraduate
student musicians who perform a wide range of choral styles and periods in
regional, national, and international concert venues. Though membership of the
group modulates annually, the Chamber Singers standard of excellence remains
stellar. Consistently outstanding Performances at Division and National
Conventions of the American Choral Directors Association and National
Collegiate Choral Organization have earned the USU Chamber Singers a reputation
of artistic integrity and musical precision among their peers. The ensemble has
performed for audiences throughout the United States, Austria, Russia, and
Mexico, bringing the “Aggie Spirit” of Utah State University to citizens of the
world through concerts, choral workshops, and outreach performances. 

The USU Chamber Singers first compact disc, Sing Me to
Heaven: The Choral Music of Daniel E. Gawthrop
was dubbed “…a quietly impressive recording” by the Washington Post.
