Violist Yuval Gotlibovich won first prizes in the 2003 Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition (U.K), and the 2004 Spring Competitions (Israel). He has collaborated with renowned artists, including Menahem Pressler, Daniel Hope, Marc-André Hamelin, and members of the Cleveland, Orion, and Mendelssohn string quartets. Mr. Gotlibovich has been featured in major venues including Wigmore Hall, the World Viola Congress in Minneapolis (2004), Viola Congress in Montreal (2006), Kennedy Center in Washington, the Ravinia Festival, and the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival. Mr. Gotlibovich graduated from Indiana University with an Artist Diploma, Masters Degree and has received a Performer Certificate studying with Atar Arad. He was appointed Professor in Viola Performance this year at Indiana University Bloomington.
