Daniel Pesca, Piano
Biography
Daniel Pesca is equal parts composer and pianist. He has recently composed for the soundSCAPE festival, guitarist Dieter Hennings, First Muse Chamber Music, and the Ritsos Project. His next works will be for the Deviant Septet and Music in the American Wild.
As pianist, Mr. Pesca has shared the stage with the Orchestra of the League of Composers, the Slee Sinfonietta, Ensemble Signal, Dal Niente, the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, and the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble. He recently performed at the Library of Congress, June in Buffalo, and festivals across Europe.
This May, he will receive a DMA in composition from the Eastman School of Music.
