Presented
in celebration of the Chinese New Year (the year of the Tiger), this piece is
rather impressionistic in nature, while it vividly depicts an autumn scene by
the lake. As the moon shines over the water, ripples flow gently disappearing
in the darkness afar. The piece was
originally written for Chinese instruments and was adapted for the modern piano
in the 1950s as Western classical music became immensely popular in the East. Sha Wang
