Lin-Kontorovitch Duo, Duo
Biography
The Lin-Kontorovitch Duo met and became fast friends while completing their degrees at Northwestern University in 2000. The idea to play together came quickly, as they realized that aside from enjoying coffee in each other's company, they also share musical ideas, style of playing and favorite repertoire. Karina and Ruth have given recitals in the Chicago area, exploring both piano four hands and two-piano works. They have also collaborated as conductor and soloist with the Good Samaritan Symphony Orchestra.
