The Snow Storm, 9 orchestral illustrations to the eponymous story by Alexander Pushkin ("Метель" in Russian), were written by the Soviet composer Georgy Sviridov in 1964
S.Kursanov and then M.Gabrielyan transcribed them for the piano.
