Seigfried’s Funeral March and Brunnhilde’s ImmolationRichard Wagner, transcribed by Jeremy Jordan
Siegfried’s Funeral March and Brunnhilde’s Immolationis a transcription I completed while still an undergraduate student at the Juilliard School in 2010. Both scenes are excerpts from the final act of Gotterdammerung - the final opera in the massive tetralogy Der Ring des Nibelungen. The transcriptions excerpt the music during and immediately following the deaths of Siegfried and Brunnhilde, the two principal characters of the latter parts of the tetralogy. Jeremy Jordan
