This is my piano adaption of a waltz by the Spanish guitarist and composer Francisco Tárrega (1852-1909). Tárrega is famous for two pieces: his 'Recuerdos de la Alhambra', a tremolo study adapted by Mike Oldfield for use in the movie 'The Killing Fields'; and this piece, from which was derived the famous Nokia ringtone. The Nokia tune is directly extracted from this piece, save an alteration to the last note (actually a harmonic on the guitar). You can hear this at 0:24 . In adapting this for piano, I have put the accompanying figures in a 'salon style', but hopefully maintained the intimacy of the guitar origi
