A good sense of rhythm is the precondition for a clean and precise technique. The permanent change between binary and ternary figures requires a special concentration on the regularitry of the small note values. These 24 etudes are written for solo violon, but they can also be played as duos. A second voice (vibraphone or second violon) underlines either the rhythmic structure or adds a melodic line.
