Frühlingslied (‘Spring Song’)
Through the dark forest goes a lovely spring morning hour.
Through the forest, from heaven, blows a quiet message of love.
Blissful listens the green tree and it submerges its branches into the beautiful spring dream- into the full life dance.

A flower blooms somewhere and the shy thing drinks the bright dew, trembling happily, that heaven has remembered it.
In secret leaf’s night is the bird’s heart touched by the magic power of love and it sings a sweet song of hope.

The heavens do not announce a word of this joyful message of spring.
Only its silent, warm glance ignites the bliss.
Thus, in the winter’s sorrow which held my soul in defeat, your glance, calm and warm, penetrates the power of spring.
