the whirlwind is coming to get you, it will not leave you, it will chase you and envelop you, and you will be like a leaf in the wind flowing, tumbling, rolling, flying and you will see the earth below in a daze and you will cheer and cry and feel the exhuberance of life and death and sorrow and joy.....and you will pray and pronounce the word love in silence and your lips will mumble and then you will start to fade.....revolving softly until you merge in the horizon...

This etude is an exercise in executing legato thirds in the right hand. While initially just a trill of two diatonic thirds, these quickly progress to a diversity of turns and scales, posing many different technical challenges. The left hand's part contains the basis of the musical content and together both hands create an almost impressionistic sound in this masterfully and delicately woven piece. Ishay Shaer
