This piece was composed in 1979 and revised in 1989. It is performed on a computer-driven Yamaha Disklavier. It was premiered on October 4th, 1991 to celebrate the opening of KPFA Radio's then new facility in Berkeley, CA. It remains unchallenged as the longest and most difficult piano rag ever composed.
