Biography
One of the most outstanding and exciting pianists of the young generation in Israel today, Victor Stanislavsky enjoys an extensive International career which has taken him to numerous countries in Europe, the Far East, and the Americas. In the passing concert season he has given over 60 performances as a soloist with orchestras, as a recitalist and as a chamber musician to critical acclaim. Victor has performed on stage of such important venues as the prestigious 'National Performing Arts Center' in Beijing, the "Forbbiden City Concert Hall" in Beijing, the "Tsarytsino" Palace in Moscow and the "St. Martin in the Fileds" church in London among many others.
Victor has performed as a soloist with the majority of Israeli important Orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic and abroad – with Milan's Symphony Orchestra and China's National Symphony Orchestra among many others.
Victor holds both B.M and M.M degrees summa cum laude, from the "Buchmann–Mehta" School of Music at Tel-Aviv University, where he studied with Mr. Daniel Gortler and later with Prof. Arie Vardi.
Victor Stanislavsky have won more than 13 prizes in competitions among which are 2nd prize at the 2009 Andorra International Piano Competition, 2nd at the 2007 E. Pozzoli International Piano Competition in Italy and the 2nd prize at the 2007 China International Piano Competition in Xiamen. In 2006 Victor was awarded the 1st prize at the 2006 "Aviv" competition, Israel's most important national competition and 1st Prize at the "Viardo" International Piano Competition in New-York
Victor has been a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships since 2000 and completed a full 3 years service in the Israeli Defense Forces under the status of an "Outstanding Musician".
