Niccolo Paganini was considered among the most talented musicians of his time, and one of the best violinists of any time.Known for his Caprices, he composed 24 of them between 1802 and 1817, all in different tonalities.The first Caprice is marked Andante and in the key of E major.The transcription for saxophone and piano was made by Raaf Hekkema, a Dutch saxophone player, who has transcribed and recorded all 24 of Paganini’s Caprices.Xavier Larsson Paez
