Such a beautiful piece, love it more the more I hear it
The American composer Philip Glass has written some pretty lush music in his career, and (aside from Itaipu) I think that his Metamorphosis is probably his grandest work to date. The minimalist harmonies in Metamorphosis are gorgeous and stirring, and deserve to be heard by classical music enthusiasts at least once. Nicolas Horvath's marvelous performance is lush, fluent, and even a little haunting -- his performance here is truly brilliant. This recording is a treat not to be missed.
