Première Rhapsodie by Claude Debussy was completed in 1910. It was written as an exit exam piece for the Paris Conservatory. Debussy himself was quite pleased with his work and arranged the piano part into an orchestral accompaniment a year later. This piece is characteristically Debussy with languid clarinet lines juxtaposed with playful interplay between the clarinet and piano.Sergey Gutorov
